How Much Do You Hate the New Wonder Woman Costume?
Hate is a strong word, how about strongly dislike this new costume that I hate. I am a comic nut from way back so I can say with authority that this sucks. The art is fine but it deviates way too much from the current version. And DC plans on not only changing the characters costume but also rewriting her origin as well. That is the part that bothers me the most.
It is not the first time they tried to change her in a dramatic way. In the ’90s Mike Deodato, Jr. had a run on Wonder Woman with a totally different costume. They eventually changed it back to the original, or at least a variation of it.
I’m all for change, but this is pretty drastic. As often as things change in comics I fully expect a new writer to come along down the road and change everything back. After all no one stays dead in comics anyway.
